Made in Sweden
We all know that Scandinavian design is appreciated all over the world. This is why SMD Design not only believes that good Swedish design deserves to be made in Sweden, but they actually make most of their products at their own production site, in Småland, in southern Sweden.
The below products will be available at the Scandinavian Art and Design week by ide&oda, but if you see any other products on their website that you like, let me know.

Just waiting to be hugged!
Most important act at the Scandinavian Art and Design exhibition will be Swedish artist Matt Nils who will be spreading joy and playfulness with his ceramic Hugboxes.
Available in different sizes, in black and white, these whimsical sculptures are each carefully hand sculpted and glazed.
We (the design film company) had some fun making this video for you.

Launching of Scandinavian Art and Design Event
Today starts a three week countdown to the Scandinavian Art and Design event I am organizing in Geneva. The week between 26 November and 2 December I will open a pop-up shop in the old town in Geneva selling Matt Nils' ceramics, Carl Spader's photography (Swedish Artists) & Scandinavian design objects. Today I am only posting the invite but stay tuned for more information on the artists and the objects. In the meanwhile you can like ide&oda on Facebook.
