FORMEX

Back to work

Outdoor furniture

What else can one do when it has been raining for weeks but to dream about outdoor living? I can totally see myself lounging in any of these settings by Spanish outdoor furniture company KETTAL.

I had the pleasure to have the Nora Soos paintings for a short month in my house. It was fantastic! They will leave on Saturday to go back home so, few more days to check them out here or live at my house.

My favorite flowers

Today I received a bouquet of my favorite flowers from dear husband - pink peonies (I had to google the name). They are simply beautiful. And they fit well with the painting by Nora Soos "Every day meditation"(on sale until mid June).

I thought I had to document the great success of the Art and Jewelry exhibition last week (24-28 April). We had lots of fun, met some amazing people and shared and sold some fabulous art and jewelry. You can still look and buy the paintings on the ide&oda website and the jewelry on Bahina's website. 

Nóra Soós

If you by any chance have missed the reason why my blog is so quiet lately.... come to the exhibition I am organizing for my dear friend, Nóra Soós, an amazing young artist! More info on the exhibition taking place next week (24-28 april) on ide&oda. Below are two photos of my living where one of her the colorful chess themes adorns the main wall (I am showing this even if I know the cushions and accessories are are wrong... ;))

House by the river

A friend recommended a book called New Natural Home by Dominic Bradbury. It's full of amazing houses that are "thoughtfully design and sensitively built",  has a low energy use, are "long-lasting" and with a respect for the landscape and the environment. This house in the UK by architect John Pardey is rather spectacular... including the flooding.
