I do not have time to research the orange theme as have to prepare for holidays, but I leave you with these amazing interiors picked out from Basiclabel Sweden.

As promised, I'm back with some photos from Les Puces du Canal in Lyon and the Marché de la Mode Vintage. I love the long cabinet of drawers and the dolls for example! But orange still has to grown on me.. For the next blog though I will try to find orange inspired interiors that are livable...

So, I've been to the famous Les Puces du Canal in Lyon and saw some fantastic stuff. And of all the things I saw, I want this dining table!!! Surprise, surprise, it's from Sweden :-). It has been totally renovated, it can get up to 3 meter long, has some amazing details and is from the 18th century. I can totally ignore the fact that I was not looking for a black table. But black is forever chic, isn't it?

Today I also would like to quickly show you this amazing Finnish glass design from 1966! By Tapio Wirkkla.

I promised more Swedish design...This white dream is the artist's Maria Moja Adlersson's summer house. I like her inventive paint jars installation the most.

Les Puces du Canal - Lyon

I will be back with more design from Scandinavia, but I just wanted to let you know that the coming weekend (11-12 June), there is the Marché de la Mode Vintage in Lyon - heaven for clothes and object which are more than 20 years old. If you are in Lyon on the Sunday, it is also worth to visit Les Puces du Canal - Lyon's biggest flea market.

I've just got back from Sweden but unfortunately I did not have time to look around in the great design shops, but at least I picked up five design magazines just before heading back . In Malmö I walked past a Finnish Marimekko shop (which was unfortunately already closed), but it inspired me to look into their latest collections. I have always loved their patterns, colours and the happy living it communicates.

To continue on the unusual, extreme design... This former Cement Factory was renovated in 1975. Not sure if I would like to live there, but the transformation is amazing. Read more on Yatzer.

Outdoor spaces... rustic, modern, chic, you name it. I am in love with the curved bench in the first one. Find many more ideas here.

I just told my husband that we need to see Grand Canyon very urgently.... Amangiri Resort Hotel being the only option :-)
