Old treasure in my living room

An amazing luck to find this old school bench in a secondhand shop in France.

Even Hungarians can do it...

How cool is this Hungarian farmhouse featured on the Dezeen website? It was created by architects Budapesti Műhely and is a "contemporary interpretation of a traditional Hungarian peasant house".

FORMEX

Formex is the largest meeting place for Nordic interior design. I was there in August to get inspired (and to see friends in Stockholm). I was not allowed to take photos but these are a few products I saw and loved:

Fake wood puffs and sofa from Norwegian ygg&lyng

Black and white wool plaid by Swedish Klippan

Soft forms by Finnish Melaja.

Back to work

Finally back home after a long lazy summer. It is always nice to come home to your own house after being away. I love walking up on our stairs where this Bruno Munari Falkland lamp, a wedding gift, hangs. (photos by Leyla Pope)

Outdoor furniture

What else can one do when it has been raining for weeks but to dream about outdoor living? I can totally see myself lounging in any of these settings by Spanish outdoor furniture company KETTAL.

A house full of paintings

"Yoga of Dressing" in the living room
"Fair Play" in the bedroom
"Master and Margarita" in the stair case

I had the pleasure to have the Nora Soos paintings for a short month in my house. It was fantastic! They will leave on Saturday to go back home so, few more days to check them out here or live at my house.

My favorite flowers

Today I received a bouquet of my favorite flowers from dear husband - pink peonies (I had to google the name). They are simply beautiful. And they fit well with the painting by Nora Soos "Every day meditation"(on sale until mid June).

Glass

You have to be very brave to live in a glass house...  And you have to be very lazy to enjoy nature from the comfort of your couch :-)

I thought I had to document the great success of the Art and Jewelry exhibition last week (24-28 April). We had lots of fun, met some amazing people and shared and sold some fabulous art and jewelry. You can still look and buy the paintings on the ide&oda website and the jewelry on Bahina's website
